Posted October 3, 2017. I recently purchased a new 4T lectron Carb for my spare DRZ400SM. First off it took weeks to get as they were waiting or their new, must have billet throttle tubes. Finally got the carb, looked awesome, install was very easy. It fit better than the OEM carb and we wont even compare fit to an FCR.

Both using pump gas. I have a chance to buy a used good shape one for $135 shipped and wonder if it's worth it.Same her got a lectron last spring -- plug and play 60 to one as per manual on the oil-- perfect I had to re adjust the power valve to get the power delivery I like. It was that much more crisp. bumtarder. There is a vacuum line that is supposed to go from the nipple on the petcock to the port nipple on the cylinder head where you have it capped off. This allows engine vacuum to operate the petcock. The petcock is normally left to "on" or "res" during normal operation. The stock petcock is automatic.
