It is becoming a battle to shift gears especially from reverse to forward . Afraid I’m going to break the shift handle . Shifts fine when not running . It’s just 12 months old.The transaxle function is to select F/R/N. It does no shifting like an auto or manual transmission. I replaced the drive belt, which restored my original top speed, but it did not fix the shudder. I drove it another month then ordered a new primary clutch (not a JD) and replaced it yesterday.

The secondary/driven clutch is at the bottom and you can see the belt is at the very top when it's not running. You can also see how the primary/drive clutch has opened all the way letting the belt "fall" down to the shaft.
